This variety was selected by the Moldavian scientist-breeder. The fruit has a spherical peer shape and usually of a large size, from 190 to 360 grams.

Several fruits reach extremely large sizes, up to 700 grams. The strong pear skin has a light green color at harvest time and slightly changes it to pale yellow with a bit of pink blush while ripening.

The flesh is tender, slightly oily and juicy with a flavored refreshing sweet-sour taste.

The harvest takes place in the first part of October, and pears reach the good condition of ripening close to the beginning of December. However, the best flavor is even at the beginning of winter holidays.

Under usual conditions pear Conference is stored until January, and if stored in refrigerators, it can be at its best even till April. The storability of the fruits is very good and they do not lose firmness, juiciness or transportability.

In most cases, this variety of pears is chosen to eat fresh. However, pear Conference is delicious after processing, like a jam, juice, dried fruits or even wine.
